Step 1: Let’s Chat
A key to any successful relationship is solid compatibility. That’s why this process starts with an introductory call between you and Brian, who leads our team, so he can better understand your goals to make sure MCO is the right group to help you grow.
If it’s a fit, we’re onto Step 2, the Discovery Session.
Step 2: Discovery Session
With the 30,000-foot view of your business in hand from Step 1, we get into the nitty gritty during this meeting to get a crystal clear picture of your business offerings, structure and goals.
We believe the strongest relationships are developed face-to-face so we host these 45-minute meetings in our office or via Zoom, depending on your location.
We’ll hit you with a series of probing questions to dive deeper into your goals.
From there, we head to the white board to outline the ways we can help you move towards your ideal business structure, revenue, and day-to-day role as the owner.
You’ll walk away understanding how our team’s expertise can help accelerate your business growth.
It all starts with that first introductory call with Brian to make sure we’re a fit.
Step 3: Creating Your Growth Plan
Based on what we learned in the Discovery session, we’ll create a customized Growth Plan consisting of:
a. Business Advisors.
This is where we use our decades of business and financial experience to help small business owners like you realize their goals. We include, and go beyond, coaching to deliver strategic business consulting with these key elements to long-term success in mind:

B. Monthly Accounting & Bookkeeping.
We pair these skill sets together for a reason:
To ensure you get the benefits of the bookkeeper and the expertise of the accountant in one.
They will keep an eye on your financial statements and manage back office accounting tasks like:
- Invoicing
- Bill pay
- Payroll processing
PLUS…Tax Services.
Our tax team can handle the preparation and filing of your annual business and/or personal taxes.
They can also enhance your Business Advisor or Monthly Accounting benefits by taking your plans through our signature MCO Tax Analysis to look for savings opportunities as well as overall annual planning efficacy.
Step 4: Plan Delivery & Review
With goals defined and a Growth Plan outlined, you’ll have a clear picture in hand of how the Moyer & Co team’s business expertise and financial certifications can directly benefit your bottom line.

Step 5: Engagement & Execution
With all your questions answered and service needs outlined, we move forward together with an annual engagement agreement and get to work!
As each element of the strategy is enacted, we’ll have regular check-ins to make sure goals are progressing and we can adjust as needed for maximum effectiveness – and tax benefit!
